Tonight was a nice surprise. I’ve been wanting to get things done with my drawing and I try to make plans during the day but by the time night rolls around and it’s time to draw I change my mind. Well, tonight was no different. I had planned on retrying my picture of Tony and Dan but when it came time I just couldn’t muster the interest.
So, to speed things along I decided to draw with an 8B pencil and planned not to use the eraser very much. I drew a Rastafarian fellow named Zoom-Lee whom I met on a London underground train. I followed and interviewed him back in the day for my creative thing-a-day project. I started by drawing his profile and I wasn’t too into it at first but I kept drawing and I think it turned into something maybe a bit more interesting what I’d planned on.
