I pretty much let myself go on this one.  It started as a pencil doodle while Jenny and I watched TV.  It began as a pair of wide set eyes which then quickly formed into a weird distorted face.  I was interested in exaggerating some of the grotesque details.  I couldn’t seem to get myself to add any hair to his head so I decided he looked like some kind of yogi or something so I put him into a very zen position.

Then it got a little out of hand.  I kept adding lines, trying to add dimensionality.  I kept thinking I was going too far with all the lines and then I decided I couldn’t fix it unless I added more.  That’s when I added the circles around his head which transformed into a sort of tunnel.

It’s a kind of a weird and creepy drawing but that’s cool.  I should probably finish it off by filling in the bottom half with more pen lines.
