I wanted to continue practicing watercolor so I drew this guy this evening with the intent to paint it.  Unfortunately, it got a bit too late and I will probably end up painting it tomorrow evening instead.  The only thing I’m bummed about is that I wish I never filled in the diagonal pattern on the back of the chair with black.  I realized my mistake only after I’d already filled in a couple boxes with black and there was no turning back.  I will have to figure out some interesting way to incorporate black into the background when I actually paint this guy.

Recently, a friend of mine posted a link up on facebook to a bunch of scary easter bunny photos and they were totally cracking me up.  I actually think all easter bunnies are kind of scary.  They have their own special brand of scary.  Anyways, I loosely based my drawing on a reference photo but I pretty much just copied the chair.  The little girl and bunny are both from my imagination.

I like the fact that the little girl is smiling real big and that she has absolutely no clue just how evil and demented the easter bunny is behind her.
