Day 325 / A Zombie For Inthia Pt. 1

January 25th, 2011

(I apologize for the delay in posting again.  I recently had an all-nighter at work combined with a bad case of food poisoning.  It was not good.)

But today…

I had a lovely day off.  The weather was perfect.  I took June to the Children’s Museum and we had a lot of fun running around and playing.  In the evening, I met up with Jeff and we recorded some stuff in the studio.  It was an overall nice day with family and friends.  A rare occasion as of late.

I am still being inspired by the papercut work of Elsa Mora and I want to do more.  Also, I recently accepted a small challenge from my old drama teacher on Facebook.

She posted this as her status:  I promise to send something handmade to the first 5 people who leave a comment here. They must, in turn, post this and send something they make to the first 5 people who comment on their status. The rules are that it must be handmade by you and it must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011.

I left a comment and reposted it as my status.  So, now I have to make something handmade for the five friends who left comments on mine.  One of those people is my friend, Inthia.

I know that Inthia likes zombies so I thought I could make her a zombie papercut.

Unfortunately, it’s still unfinished.  I want to add other things like background and foreground elements.
