NOTE: Sorry for the small delay on posting, folks. I have been extremely busy the past three days. I have been doing a creative thing every night but I have had zero time for posting them. I will no doubt get something posted this evening. All the best, Charlie

I woke up real early this morning to arrive at the location on time. We filmed all day at the Huntington Library in Pasadena. It’s a beautiful location to be all day but it was quite cold. Filming finished up around 5pm and I drove over to Jenny’s parents house. Stacy and Guillaume are flying back to France tomorrow and tonight was our last night to hang out with them. They will be missed.
We got home and put June to bed. I tucked Jenny in because she has not been feeling all that well lately. I was wearing all of my clothing when I got into bed so it got hot and I snoozed off for a while. I got up at 11pm and went out into the living room to do my creative thing.
The initial plan that I made while driving home was that I would do some writing as my creative thing. I don’t write enough and I need to do it more often but after waking up all dazed I really didn’t have the urge to think.
I decided the best thing for me to do was to get that dip-pen out and draw some more. This time I stuck with the style I’m most comfortable with. I wanted to experiment with pressure and line thickness. I felt like I was getting to know the way this pen works, which is good.
I want to do more with this pen because it is quite versatile. The range of thick to thin is pretty amazing. With a light touch and a certain angle to the tip you can achieve a spectacularly fine line.
