Day 049 / Office Instruments Pt. 3

Not a whole lot of time today because it’s really crunch time for me at work.  I am working the weekend to try to get my cuts done for an early next week delivery.   So I went for one of the projects that’s a little easier for me to accomplish in the limited time I have.   Still, I feel pretty good about this one because all of these office instrument clips that I am collecting are destined for one master preset in my 64(video)fingers and hopefully a song.

Today I recorded a pair of scissors, a roll of masking tape, the flipping through of a post-it stack, a cardboard box of styrofoam and a wooden bowl filled with thumbtacks.  The latter made for some nice shaker sounds.

Unfortunately, no time to upload a video from todays recordings but as a consolation I have uploaded clip from my previous recordings.  This one is a quick one of the plucking of three rubber bands strapped to a music stand.   Surprisingly musical.  Enjoy!

This is awesome! Totally thought it would be like the Flight of the Concords “Leggy Blonde” office instruments bridge. KEEP IT UP!!

I have to admit, I’m really happy you didn’t go with filing your hand in a box of styrafoam. i would have barfed all over my keyboard. Please never consider nails on a chalk board. :)
