Last night really felt like the end of the blog to me but I still had two more days to fill.

I knew I wanted to do something that wasn’t hard.  The perfect idea came to my head- ginormous bubbles!  My buddy Jeff had some success last night with the bubble maker so I connected with him and put out the facebook call that at 4:30 we were going to make ginormous bubbles at the top of Hillcrest Park.  Be there!

Jeff and I met up at the gallery around 4 to pick up the equipment.  We were shocked to discover that Vince, the guy who cleans and tends to the gallery, saw the cooler of my bubble mix and decided to empty it!

Jeff and I jumped into action and quickly drove to Albertson’s for distilled water and Ultra Joy and then off to CVS for Pure Glycerin.  I updated the facebook post so people would have some warning.  We mixed the bubble mix in the back of Jeff’s truck before heading to HillCrest.  1-part UltraJoy, 8-parts distilled water and 1/4 pure Glycerin.

When we got to the top we saw Jenny and June.  We opened the cooler and started making ginormous bubbles right off the bat.  They still weren’t as awesome as that guy from Stinson Beach but they were pretty dang good.  Eventually, a good group of friends had gathered and we all chilled out at the park and watched ginormous bubbles float by until sundown.
