Day 330 / Twist

January 30th, 2011

Had quite a long day on set today.  I should’ve called my crew in later because we had to wait until the end of the shoot day to shoot some interviews.  I left set around 11pm at night.

My creative thing was already decided upon because I had filmed those turntables yesterday.  I had to go by my buddy Dean’s house and use his PC to send those shots through the mill.  I finished rendering two shots before leaving and sent one more through to finish overnight.

It was nice to see the images coming out as it rendered.  They were looking just as I’d hoped they would.  I did a few single frame renders that encompassed every frame in each shot which you can see in the images above.  Everything was looking great.  I was really excited to see them in full motion.

Through the magic of late posting to the blog, (haha) you can see final renders below.  I’m super happy with the results.

I wish I wasn’t going to be so busy over the next few days because I would love to keep rendering these shots.  Unfortunately, it looks like it’s going to be a crazy week.

Anyways, enjoy the video!  The music underneath is a portion of a track called “My Life Is My Own” by an artist named noiseflowr.  The song was created for the latest Monome Community Remix Project.
