Well, firstly I apologize for this post being so late.  The day after the party Jenny and I were pretty destroyed and walking around like zombies.  Nevertheless the party went off without a hitch.  It was surprising how many people arrived so close to the party start time.  I usually expect people to arrive at least a hour after that.  I wish I took more pictures because this party was going to be my creative thing for the day.

I spent the early part of the day running around getting things together.  I didn’t stop running until a half-hour after the party began.  I took a few pictures here and there but once it got crowded I found myself getting swept away into conversation and eventually I put my camera away.  Luckily, my friend Rachel was taking a fair amount of pictures and she uploaded those to her Flickr account, you can see those here.  Also, my buddy Dantes brought his 7D and decided to take a few time lapses of the party (which I’ll link to as soon as they’re available)

The speakers performed wonderfully and the blared christmas tunes into the night.  I realized that I place the snow machine over the wrong part of the backyard.  The great thing about the Christmas in July party is that while your socializing and mingling with friends suddenly it starts snowing on you.  Well, unfortunately I pointed the snow machine towards the lawn and most everybody was hanging out on the other side near the food.  Oh well, I’ll plan for it next year.

It was great to see everyone that came and ultimately stay up until 3am hanging out and talking.  Thank you to all the friends who came.  You made it a very merry Christmas indeed.
