Day 096 / Chair Stacking

I think the delirium has set in.  Yesterday I finished my major editorial duties on Toy Story 3 and celebrated the end of the all-nighter.  Well, just when I began counting my chickens guess what happened?  Yes, I am here again and the sun is about to rise.  At least this time I have company, my co-worker Gage.  We got the sudden request from a big wig for a demo reel and I got stuck here angling a montage at her.  Well, it’s over tomorrow no matter how tonight pans out.

Anyways, I was talking with Gage about old high school days and he mentioned some classic pranks he used to play on a local coffee shop that foolishly left they’re chairs out overnight.  He and his friends used to stack them in wild formations and leave mysterious notes behind for the staff.  So, we decided to do a little chair stacking ourselves.  Just after we finished the stack I went to get my camera and unfortunately the battery was dead and I didn’t have my charger!  So, I had to sit on the floor and draw it out on paper.

Later, we changed stack formation and then Gage pulled out an iphone and snapped some pictures.  Hmmm, that would’ve been helpful earlier.  (sigh) Ah well.

I can’t wait for the weekend.

Inspiring. I quit smoking on Feb. 12 2010 after approxomately 20 years of smoking on and off. I quit several times for as long as 2 years but I have an addictive personality and I can get back into the rut easily. Anyways, stick with it. I have 2 daughters that I want to stick around for as well.

    Good luck!

Thanks Patrick! Yes, I too have the unfortunate addictive personality. It’s not easy but I haven’t been more determined to quit in years. The worst problem for me is my work. Lately I’ve been working the worst hours a person could possibly work and I am finding it unrealistic to try at the moment. Although I am on the cusp of a well deserved vacation so expect a retry very soon. I will keep the blog up to date and completely candid regarding the smoking. It helps me to stay honest and motivated.
