Am I a total monome geek or is this a cool idea? I think both.
Today I had just a tiny window of time to work on my creative thing. It was 10pm when I finished work and I have a flight to catch early tomorrow morning so I improvised this one. I’m surprised how quickly it occurred to me because I was really unsure of what I was going to do and I wanted to get to bed early enough so as not to be too tired tomorrow.
Basically, I plugged the monome in and utilized it’s sleep mode and did multiple 30sec exposures of it. Pretty simple but what a great tool for light painting! If only it was battery powered then you could really free yourself in regards to movement.
