The past few days have been some of the hardest for this blog as well as the smoking thing.  At the moment I feel like I’m in a bit of a lull.   A year is a long time and I’m sure that not everyday is going to be as inspiring as another.  I still have not had a single puff of a cigarette.   And as for lack of inspiration I have to just power through.   I’m in a down but I’m sure there’s another up.  
 
Tonight I decided to try another watercolor mainly because it was getting late and I wasn’t sure what to do.   I didn’t feel like another tree tonight so I decided to paint a little of what I know so I painted one of my usual cartoon style images. Watercolor seems to me a strange medium to try cartoon style with, gouache or oil seems much better suited, but it’s the only paint I own at the moment.  
 
The next time I do a water color I plan on risking more.   I could’ve risked more on this one.  Create your character with the absolute least amount of strokes possible.  Now that would be interesting.
