So, tonight I finally soldered together one of the many cold cathode tubes that I bought a while ago to use for light painting.  If you’ve never heard of light painting google it right now!  There are some absolutely amazing pictures out there.  I used this tutorial to get me along with the assembly process.  It was really easy to put together.  Then I took it out to the local playground and took some pictures.  Not bad for a first run if you ask me.  I’m looking forward to getting an intervalometer for my camera.  Without one of these I’m limited to 30 sec exposures only.  But with a remote/intervalometer I’d be able to keep the shutter open as long as I like.  Fun.
