I got a fair amount of work done last night.  I finished 84 frames.  I could have done more but the baby didn’t sleep a wink last night.  It was the first real day of summer here in california.  It was hot, hot, hot and June just couldn’t sleep.  As a result, I got very little sleep as well.

I was feeling pretty good about this bit of animation as I was drawing it but now that I can see it in motion I realize that I actually drew too many frames.  The movement is too steady and lacks things like recoil and anticipation which would give it more life and character.  I most likely can fix this in post by strategically deleting certain frames.
